GOD IN THE BOX.... Thurstone's Box Problem and the
scientific Proof of God

Hey listen guys.... cut D.O. some slack. He's the only one
here
who has a clue as to what Thurstone's Box Problem is. Thurstone's
Box Problem is the EXEMPLAR of Factor Analysis. Thurstone
was a psychologist
who discovered Multiple Factor Analysis... or I should say "rediscovered"
it, since this math was already well known to Quantum Mechanics.
In
fact, it IS the same math as Quantum Mechanics.... basically the
"eigenvector" problem in linear algebra.
Anyway, Thurstone wanted to make up a problem which would
"illustrate"
Factor Analysis to psychology research people who knew little math
and even less physics. So he made up this problem in which
you take
a BOX (like a cardboard box) and you pretend you don't know what
it
is, and you see if Factor analysis can discover that it is a BOX.
Now.. this may seem boring, but its not, because Thurstone
was a genius,
and what he guessed is that there was some connection between a
BOX
and the human BRAIN. (Little did he know he was taking the
first step
in finding a scientific proof of God!).`
OK, you've heard the fable about the three guys who were
reaching into a
tent with an Elephant in it and the first guy grabbed the tail
and
said he thought it was a snake, the second guy grabbed the trunk
and
said he thought it was an alligator, and the third guy grabbed
it's
ear and said he thought it was a giant featherless bird.
But when they all
got together, they figured out it was an elephant. OK, this
is what
FACTOR ANALYSIS does.. it takes many small random measurements
on an
unknown mysterious object, and tells you what it is. In the
case of
Thurstone's Box Problem, it turns out to be a BOX, and BTW,
in the case
of Hammond's problem, the mysterious object turns out to be GOD.
Real
God.
OK, Thurstone made up a table of measurements on this unknown
object. He measure the diameter, girth, surface area, diagonal
length, volume, etc. etc.... about 10 different measurements.
He did this for 50 random sized boxes, candy boxes, shoe
boxes,
hat boxes, etc.
Then, he computed the 10x10 "correlation matrix" for the
50
boxes, using simple arithmetic. He then computed the eigenvalues
of the 10x10 matrix and found that there were 3 eigenvalues, then
he computed the 3 corresponding eigenvectors. Guess what,
the
3 eigenvectors form a "box" in eigenvector space. Thus he
proved
that the "mysterious object" (or class of objects) that he was
investigating were actually BOXES. Now obviously this is
a
very simple minded example of Factor Analysis... but it turns out
that he was such a premonitionary genius.... that the HUMAN BRAIN
actually turns out to be a simple 3D BOX, and that this explains
the
Structural Model of Psychology. Of course the brain is also
time
varying, and it's "mental speed" shows up as "IQ", so we are talking
about a "time varying box" in eigenvector space in the case of
Psychology.
In the case of Psychology, what is done is to take every
psychology
test in the world, and give them to say 20,000 people. Say
there are
100 questions on every test. Each question is like a guy
reaching into the
tent to try and see what's in there. OK, so they compute
the
100x100 correlation matrix and then extract the eigenvectors.
Guess
what, it turns out to be a 3D time varying BOX.... just like Thurstone's
Box Problem. the next thing they do (Hammond 1994) is try
to figure
out why Psychology would be a Box, and Hammond discovered that
it's
caused by the 3-symmetry axes of the brain (Sperrian, Bell-Magendie,
Neuraxis) which act exactly like the edges of Thurstone's Box,
and
instead of x,y,z as in Thurstone's case, give you E,N,P the 3
Personality dimension in Psychometric space (which have been known
for 50
years BTW). And the time varying part shows up as "IQ", which
has
been known for 70 years BTW.
OK.... next comes the amazing part.... the discovery of
"God in the box".
I was looking at Thurstone's Box Problem (Thurstone 1947, _Multiple
Factor Analysis_, a now legendary classic textbook), and he points
out
that if you use an "infinite" range of sizes for the boxes, then
the
3-Factors will turn out to be orthogonal. His 3-factors don't
turn
out exactly orthogonal (after rotation to simple Structure) because
of course he was using an average range of boxes.. none of them
were over
a foot in size for instance. If you do this the 3-Factors
will be correlated
because as the boxes get bigger all 3 sides generally get bigger.
This
would not be true if you included totally random infinite boxes...
like
real long skinny ones etc.
OK, if the 3x3 matrix is "oblique" (sometimes called "curved"
by
physicists), it turns out you can factor it again and extract a
SINGLE
higher order factor. Thurstone never did this, but I took
his data and
did it.... sure enough you get a single higher order factor.
I called this
a "growth factor" (actually a stunting factor) because he only
used small boxes.
It turns out, s we shall see, that this factor is "GOD" when you
analyze
the human brain instead of cardboard boxes.
the 4x4 matrix of Psychometry (E,N,P,g) has, again just
like Thurstone's
3D box, a SINGLE HIGHER ORDER FACTOR. In the case of Psychology
it is
very easy to show that this factor is caused by the SECULAR TREND
in
brain growth (see my website). Again it is a "growth factor"
(actually
a stunting factor), only this time we are talking about human brains
not cardboard boxes. Anyway, this "braingrowth deficit factor"
is clearly,
and unequivocally identified as "GOD". And therefore, we
have discovered,
experimentally and theoretically, the world's first REAL scientific
proof
of God.
The identification of the higher order factor as God is
based on
comprehensive and overwhelming evidence.. I will just summarize
it
here:
1. A 4x4 matrix can only have ONE higher order factor,
therefore we know we are talking about the end
of
psychology... i.e. the LAST FACTOR in psychology.
2. This factor is easily identified as the historical
braingrowth deficit associated with the Secular
Trend
(i.e. genotype-phenotype) because of it's loading
on
Intelligence (i.e. it's known impact on mental
retardation
for instance)
3. The "psychological effect" of the braingrowth deficit,
and
it's historical record explains psychologically
the phenomena
of "God" as we know it from it's description
in the Bible.
It causes "perceptual miracles", it is the origin
of "eternal
life" (100% development = eternal life).
it explains "God in
Heaven" as the ungrown part of the brain (UNCS
mind). it
explains "Creation" since incremental brain
growth produces
new reality (creation). It explains Kingdom
Come (the
plateau of the Secular Trend "S-curve") etc.
etc. etc.
4. Finally, because Hammond's Cartesian Brain Geometry is
caused
by the Cartesian (Riemannian) structure of real
space, and the
4 metrical dimensions X,Y,Z,t of real space
cause the E,N,P,g
of Psychometry space, this means that the 4x4
space-time metric
causes the 4x4 Psychometry Metric (actual physical
causation),
so that the CURVATURE of the 4x4 Pasychomety
metric which causes
"God" is caused by the curvature of the 4x4
space-time metric
which we know is GRAVITY (einstein 1916), whence
Gravity causes
God.
5. so, the upshot is, that this discovery proves that the
"God of
History" ACTUALLY IS REAL AND ACTUALLY EXISTS.
Well, I have just explained the whole proof of God all over again,
this time starting with "Thurstone's Box Problem"... for
the benefit of you
Factor analysis buffs...... D.O., I hope you see this
